The Final Workshops for IHS CERA’s Smart Grid: Closing the Gap Between Perception and Reality Multiclient Study will be held in Paris on 7 October, 2010.

Lawrence J. Makovich, IHS CERA Vice President, Senior Advisor for Global Power, and the Smart Grid Study Director, will be the featured speaker at the workshop and will be accompanied by members of the Smart Grid project team.

The team will present final research and facilitated stakeholder discussion on

• Critical analysis of the Smart Grid narrative
• Revised outlook reflecting more realistic path for Smart Grid evolution
• Signposts to track the actual path of Smart Grid
• Realistic opportunities and challenges associated with Smart Grid
