As the upstream oil and gas sector grows increasingly competitive, E&P firms are searching for any source of advantage in: tapping new resources; improving operational performance; and establishing partnerships. Technology can provide that edge, but its competitive benefits have been viewed to be fleeting as it is often quickly dispersed throughout the industry. During this session, CERA will draw upon its Upstream Technology research to discuss how E&P firms might establish sustainable competitive advantage through their exploitation of technology. |
