| Coal-To-Liquids: Current Status and Future Prospects Hosted by DKRW Advanced Fuels | |||||||
7:30 - 8:50 AM
The convergence of two trends, concern over energy security and a widening differential between prices for oil and coal, is fostering greater interest in coal-to-liquids (CTL) development. Although projects to produce CTL face many challenges in becoming commercial, implementation of CTL technology has the potential to become a game-changing event in oil and coal markets. To help answer questions about CTL, this breakfast will provide an update on the status of CTL projects throughout the world, describe promising technologies, and offer an assessment of future prospects for the industry. |
